Morgan Hill's location in the southern Santa Clara Valley offers plenty of recreational opportunities.

Morgan Hill's mild year round climate and its proximity to Henry Coe State Park and Anderson Lake Park, both less than three miles from Morgan Hill, provide miles of pleasant hiking, walking and picnicking. Coyote Creek Parkway, a paved, multi-use trail, is also nearby, leading bicyclists, rollerbladers and hikers all the way to San Jose. An equestrian trail parallels the Parkway, offering additional recreation for those on horseback.
